Imagination Shoppe spawned out of a desire to create a place in which friends and neighbors could gather to enjoy themselves in a game. We saw an opportunity to develop a proven successful idea, the cybercafé, into the next level of entertainment by broadening the scope to include a location that encouraged play of all forms of games from digital to classical to board: The Game Café.

Bringing a place with an ambiance of a friendly get-to-together atmosphere and community openness appealed to us. We felt that this new idea befit the regions reputation for developing unique business concepts in the past.

So what should I expect when I walk into Imagination Shoppe?

You will immediately note when you first walk in that the door to the store is much smaller than the inside and it almost fools the mind … as if it is a tiny portal into a larger dimension of fun …

Right after this initial thought passes you will then notice a warm, open environment with wood textures hinting at an old world flavor ... light and airy colors … and soft lighting overhead …

No dark dungeon … no stuffy smells …

…. Of course, there is Coffee …

…. And baked goods ….

So now that I’m here … what do you mean exactly by games?

We mean games … in all forms … it is time to play. Imagination Shoppe offers large open bench table seating areas to just grab a board game, sit down and play. If we don’t have your game … then bring it in and share with everyone. Let’s see what YOU like to play. We also have some really comfy couches to kick back on with friends and play … or just talk. Not enough?

We sell games, too … from board, to card, to role-playing, miniatures and even games for the kids!!!

And if this still isn’t enough, Imagination Shoppe will be hosting a variety of tournaments, leagues, events and competitions. We are also very interested in your thoughts … what you think of when you think of playing games … what you would love to see in the Shoppe. We are passionate about our goal to build a true general gaming community.
