Magic the Gathering's new casual format, Archenemy will be released TOMORROW, June 18th!!!

This new format pits one against many utilizing a large card setup similar to Planechase to enhance the game play. From the Wizards website ...

The letter Y! ou've played Magic one-on-one. You've played it in a free-for-all. But have you ever wanted to just throw down the gauntlet against all your friends at once? Have you ever wanted to take on the whole world and show them who's boss?

Well, now you can! Archenemy is the first "One vs. Many" multiplayer product. With a deck of twenty oversized cards to beef up your favorite deck, you'll be ready to face off against as many of your friends as your kitchen table can hold. Two? Three? Twenty? Bring 'em on! Here you rule!

On June 18, become the Archenemy. There will be four different game packs, each one with a 60-card Magic deck featuring eight rares, and a 20-card oversized deck.

In celebration, we will have a feature event starting at 3pm on June 18th. We will still have our Friday Night Magic at 5:30pm as well ... draft format.

So we had a debate about what to do on Saturday: N64 Mario Cart or SSBB ... what to do???

RUN BOTH!!!

So Saturday is NINTENDO DAY!!!

That's right ... we are crazy enough to try and run TWO tournaments on Saturday!!! Starting at 11am our N64 Mario Cart racing will begin .. this will go until 3:30pm or until it's over. Entry fee is only $5 and there WILL BE PRIZES. Between races, we'll even have original Nintendo to play with while you wait for your racing slot.

After the smoke clears and the dust settles from the track, we'll open up the ring ... ding ding ding ... and get down to the dirty play of Super Smash Brothers Brawl!!! This will begin at 4pm and the entry feel will also be $5 WITH prizes!!!

So are you a Nintendo fiend!?! Get your game on down at Imagination Shoppe!!

In an attempt to reintroduce our forums but avoid the spam we received in the last edition, we had to clean out the 500 plus accounts in the system. We do apologize for the inconvenience but all accounts (including my own) were deleted from the system. User Account creation was reopened and I'm hoping it pairs with the re-released forums ... please give it a try and see how things work. Thank you for your patience.
